Can I RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) if I have studied before?
Short answer, we do allow for RPL if you have completed previous anatomy studies and can supply a recognised certificate!
In order to approve an RPL request, please send through the below:
-
A copy of your previous training Certificate
-
Course length in hours (e.g 150 hr training)
-
A screenshot or photo of the course curriculum or outline (including the anatomy component, or a separate outline if you completed your anatomy course independently/separately).
-
A screenshot of your studio's timetable showing you are on the schedule (if applicable).
Once we review your submission, we can determine which course components may be eligible for RPL. This may include the anatomy component, as well as reducing the required observation, participation, and practice teaching logs.
If RPL is granted, you will still need to complete the following:
-
All online modules within the main training course. If you’re an experienced teacher, you’ll likely move through these quickly — many participants complete them within 1–2 weeks.
-
The non-anatomy lectures within the Anatomy Basics course, including Modules 1–3 and Module 13, which cover class preparation, teaching skills, cueing, and business acumen
You’ll also be required to complete a full assessment submission, which includes:
-
100% completion of the required online content
-
Observation, participation, and practice teaching logs (these hours may be reduced based on the documentation you provide)
-
1,000-word essay
-
Written group class plan
-
Written 1:1 class plan
-
45–60 minute assessment video
