Can I Teach in the UK?

Yes, you can absolutely teach in the UK with your Barre Body Certificate. Once you’ve completed the training, you’ll be a Certified Instructor with recognition both nationally and internationally. Several of our graduates are currently working in the UK, in places like London and Edinburgh! They've successfully obtained their insurance and started teaching in the UK with only their Barre Body Certification. A couple of insurers we recommend are Insure4Sport (underwritten by Ripe Guarantee) or Fit Pro Insurance.

We are currently gaining our Level 3 mat Pilates accreditation in the UK so we can be recognised with even more studios.

Since there are no universal standards, recognition can vary depending on the employer or insurer. We always suggest talking to teachers and studio managers/owners to get insight on their certification journeys, and choose the path that feels like the best fit for your goals.
