What is the breakdown of the Online Barre Course?

Here is a detailed breakdown of the Online Barre Course: (150 hours in total):

• Online modules (~80 hours)

  • Go at your own pace; you have 9 months to complete but we recommend trying to complete it in 6 months. Some students complete this in just a few weeks.

• 30 hours participation

  • Participate in barre classes at any studio

  • You may complete some of these hours via an online studio with barre classes (such as Barre Body Online)

• 10 hours observation

  • Watch barre classes at any studio

  • You may complete some of these hours via an online studio with barre classes

• 30 hours practice teaching

  • Practice teach barre classes to 1+ person

• 1:1 written class plan

• Group class plan

• 45-60 min filmed assessment video

  • Submit a video of yourself teaching a barre class to 3+ people (friends, family)

• 1000 word essay

You will also receive weekly guidance, feedback and mentoring via emails and Facebook community. Please note, our Facebook community will shortly be migrating over to our Teacher Love Club app (TLC) mid-year. We will notify all students once this occurs.
